yes, i second that. if you seriously start considering, please do your research. although if you get a fennec fox and it doesn't work out, i have an in at the zoo and we don't currently have one... >;)
Also, I'll second the comments about Fennecs being unsuitable as pets. They're way cute, but they're desert creatures, so they'll rip hell out of your furniture trying to burrow, hide food around the place, dig their way out of any enclosure, and won't house-train easily, if at all. They're really not domesticated.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but having raised more than a few orphaned wild animals, including foxes, I must tell you that wild animals make terrible pets. You'd be much better off with a dog or cat or rabbit or somesuch.
