Broke my glasses before the debate.

Wearing old, headache-inducing pair.

Tried to "watch" the debate with my eyes closed -- just listening... and fell asleep.

Upside: It has been 2+ years since I had an eye exam.

Guess I'm going to Lenscrafters (or somesuch) tomorrow.

Big lesson learned? Probably that using your old prescription as a back-up set of glasses is sub-optimal.
